About Tether

Tether (USDT) is the most widely used US-dollar stablecoin, designed to hold a value of approximately one US dollar. It is a fiat-backed stablecoin: each token is intended to be redeemable for a dollar and backed by reserves such as cash, cash equivalents and short-dated US Treasury bills.

Because its price stays close to the dollar, USDT is commonly used as a settlement layer, a way to move value between venues, and a place to park funds without leaving the crypto ecosystem. It circulates across multiple blockchains, including Ethereum, Tron and Solana, and is one of the deepest-liquidity assets in the market.

On OSL-TRADE you can buy, sell and trade Tether in a fully regulated environment, with deep liquidity, transparent pricing and institutional-grade custody. Prices shown here update live from aggregated market data.

FAQ

Tether FAQ

USDT is a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar and backed by reserves, so its market price stays close to $1.00. Small deviations can appear during periods of high volatility, but arbitrage and redemption mechanisms typically pull it back to the peg.
